Hi kids xx this is for you and anyone else who finds it interesting :)
I’ve spent 20+ years making things for others. Tattoos, paintings, visuals, environments, experiences—shaped by shared spaces, collaborations, and compromises. And while I’ve loved much of it, I’m feeling the need to change the path a little bit.
I run a tattoo studio ( Indigenous Tattoo in Bayonne France ) and a London based art business (Pistache) with my brother. It’s something we built together.
I’m here on substack to create something that belongs to me entirely and shares my unique esthetic.
With Pistache , i’ve had the pleasure to work with clients including The NBA, Jeep, Michael Kors, Reebok and loads more. I’ve also been invited to paint live at events at The Royal Academy Of Arts & Somerset House.
I haven’t had a steady paycheck since 2003, purely living from my art.
I want to help people on their creative journeys.
I also want to leave a document of my experiences for my kids.
Altliens is my corner of the universe—a place for sketchbook thoughts, tiny obsessions, collectable ghosts, and soft dispatches from a creative life lived off to the side. It’s part zine, part journal, part archive of whatever I can’t stop thinking about.
You can expect:
Illustrated reflections.
Quiet essays about art, myth, memory, collecting.
Drops of tiny artifacts—cards, zines, fragments.
The occasional studio confession or ritual.
Some of this will be free. Some will be behind a soft paywall, for those who want to support this practice and be part of its growth.
If you’ve ever felt like you’re orbiting something important—but needed to step away to see it clearly—you’re in the right place.
Thanks for being here. I don’t take it lightly.
More soon.
